Tracy Ross is a native Californian who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He comes from a very musical family; both of his parents were professional singers. Tracy began studying piano at age 5 and has attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, California State University Hayward, the University of California Berkeley and the Manhattan School of Music in New York where he earned his Master of Music degree. He has worked with the San Francisco Opera and toured throughout the United States with the Western Opera Theater and has also performed in Japan.

Tracy, his wife and two children recently moved to Portland and they are enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest. In Portland Tracy has been working with the Oregon Ballet Theatre, Pacific Festival Ballet, Northwest Children’s Theater and Oregon Children’s Theatre
